Debbie and Liza have been working as chartered
physiotherapists for over twenty years and have a wide
range of experience from working in a variety of clinical
settings.These include NHS hospitals, sports and dance
clinics, and rehabilitation centres. We currently work
part-time at the Great Western hospital in Swindon where we
cover musculo-skeletal out-patients, orthopaedic consultant
back clinics and GP surgeries.In recent years we have
worked on the orthopaedic wards and in post-surgical
rehabilitation.We have post-graduate qualifications in
Pilates (core stability instruction) and Acupuncture for
pain relief. We are members of the Acupuncture Association
of Chartered Physiotherapists (ACCP) and we are registered
with Kennet District Council to practise acupuncture at our
Marlborough Clinic.As part of our programme of Continual
Professional Development we participate in monthly training
sessions as well as attending external courses around the
country. This ensures that our skills remain current and
evidence-based in line with Chartered Society of
Physiotherapy (CSP) standards.
